Remove plastic cover from p2 nozzle of airflow switch both p1 and p2 are now open to atmosphere. Install the pressure switch on the supply plenum or in a main supply duct. Mount the switch in vertical plane so that the nozzles are pointing down as shown in fig 1. Install a duct pressure switch from grainger to help your hvac system do its job.

Mark a point on the side of the plenum or duct where a hole will be drilled for the barbed sensing pressure probe. Installing too close to a duct booster fan will cause the switch to short cycle the fan see figure b. Push the included silicone tubing onto the barbed pressure probe and push the 90 plastic elbow into the open end of the tubing. Mount the airflow switch on a flat surface ideally in a clean dry environment but can be mounted externally.
