Take one of the large bowls and place it over the stain. Use the following method to remove diarrhea pet stains from all all carpets except wool. Bicarbonate soda commonly referred to as baking soda is a great option for cleaning up dog diarrhea stains. Since diarrhea and fecal matter can damage delicate carpet fibers and leave behind an unpleasant odor thorough cleaning is necessary to prevent staining from occurring.

Keep on doing this step until the carpet fully absorbs the liquid. You want the diarrhea to dry so you are not smudging it around the carpet making it worse. You will see the stain disappear gradually. Use a sponge or cloth to dab the solution onto the stain.

If you don t have an enzyme cleaner on hand then you may try to get rid of the dog poop or diarrhea stain using a homemade detergent vinegar solution. Placing the bowl over the stain will also confine the odor so the room does not stink any more than it has to. Gently rub the baking soda into the carpet fibers. However dealing with dog poop and diarrhea in furniture upholstery or carpeting is a particularly challenging task that no owner relishes having to deal with.
