I will say my favorite application method for the heat transfer vinyl on a mug was the mini iron. In a previous video we showed you how to use a heat gun to apply htv to a coffee mug. Now if you are going to hand wash your mugs you can probably use either adhesive vinyl or heat transfer vinyl and any of the application methods mentioned. For more complicated textures or decals use a hair dryer on very low to soften the adhesive while pushing it into the grooves.
